Avast Internet Security blocking Chromecast Windows 10

Hi, I am new and limited in technical ability so please be patient. I had Avast Free and had no issues so decided to opt for Avast Internet Security as my full program. I downloaded it yesterday and have no problems other than my laptop cannot locate my Chrome casts any more. It was working fine with Avast free. Now the only way I can cast is to turn the firewall off.
Can anyone tell me in really simple terms what I need to change to make it allow my chrome cast without having to turn my firewall off, or do I need to find a different brand of Security, I am still in the 30day free trial and do not want to commit to paying for it if I am just going to have to go and buy another one.

I am running Windows 10

In AIS user interface, go to Protection, then click on Firewall. You should see your LAN under Current Network. Make sure that it is set to Private. Let us know if that helps.
