Avast Internet Security + Gaming - Connection error

Im running Avast Internet Security latest version, and I have counter strike 1.6.
So my problem is when ever I want to look for a public server I cant, I think its because of my firewall, but which one, I didnt want to try because I wanted to keep my computer secure, and thought let the smart guys tell me :smiley:
