Avast Internet Security Unsecured The Avast Antivirus is off

Hey guys, I am running Windows 7 64bit and I have Avast Internet Security which I purchased a subscription for on August 1 2012. I recently had an issue with my PC where I was getting a black screen and a system restore fix the issue. Now when I open Avast I see a message in red saying “Unsecured The Avast Antivirus is off” and at the top of Avast’s menu it says “Subscription 0 days remaining”. I have hit “Start” and “Resolve All” but nothing happens, My system is currently unsecured. Has my subscription to Avast ended?

Any help is greatly appreciated

avast dont like system restore......when using it you need to turn off selfprotection first

so now you do a reinstall

remove with this. http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
download and install again. http://www.avast.com/download-software

Or simply enter the license file again.

Thanks! Entering the license file didn’t work, I had to first uninstall and reinstall Avast before I could enter the license file into Avast. All is good now :slight_smile:
