Avast Internet Security

I purchased Avast Internet Security from Fry’s Electronics store .When they sell it to me they didn’t ask me my e-mail. According them they do not supposed to ask also any personal email while they sell avast product.
So, after i purchased the product and installed it it keeps "your activation code was sent to the email address you used when you purchased your Avast Product "

  1. I contact store manager. No solution. Just explained their only selling the product, they did not ask customer email.
  2. I contacted Avast online customer support. They just forced me to talk to the store who sell their product.
    So who is responsible and accountable for problem of Activating Avast Product ?

The problem is he never received an activation key or license file. They never asked for an email address.
Using the above link without the license information doesn’t look like it will help.

ahh then the problem is with the seller as the activation key should be the thing the customer gets…

So the question remains, what is the customer to do? The merchant isn’t doing their job and the
customer is caught in the middle.

I am interested in what the customer got from the store…it’s not obvious from the OP…
