Avast IS - Avast Safe Zone - Problem with Bookmarking any URL

As I try to bookmark any URL, this window opens, as shown in the attachment. I do not understand the logic.

I am not sure what is happening with you.
Bookmarking should be the same as in Google Chrome.
You could try to reset SafeZone, but than all your customisation of SafeZone will be gone too !

Avast -Settings - Tools - SafeZone - Customise - Reset SafeZone - Yes.

Maybe you could try a repair of Avast first, and see if that makes any difference :

  1. Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Avast! - Change.
  2. Repair.
  3. Follow the instructions.
  4. Reboot.

I guess, your suggestions may help. However, I had been noticing yet another issue for past few hours: my system has become extremely slow. Time to time, I checked CPU usage and generally found it lower than 33%. I also checked memory utilization which didn’t exceed 50%. Hence, I decided to uninstall it for the time being, and replace it by Microsoft Security Essentials. Let me see what comes out of it!
