Avast is blocked by group policy.

Hello, there. My avast has been blocked by the group policy thingy. I’ve looked in the other threads and found out about farbar recovery tool. I did the scan and here are the 3 txt files in the attachments.
can you please instruct me of what to do next? thanks in advance for your support :slight_smile:

FIRST >>>>

Please go to START (Windows Orb) >> Control Panel >> Uninstall a Program or Programs and Features and remove the following (if listed):

Coupon Printer for Windows
uTorrentBar Toolbar
Volaro Updater
YoutubeAdBlocke

To do so, left clicking on the name once and then click Uninstall/Change at the bar above the list window.

Follow the prompts of the uninstaller BUT please read carefully any questions it asks before answering; some uninstallers will try and deceive you into keeping the software.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

[/b]Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

How is your machine running now?

dear dbrisendine;
I followed your instructions up to the point where i had to uninstall uTorrentBar Toolbar. I could uninstall the rest of the programs you listed but couldn’t uninstall this one; nothing happens when i hit the uninstall button.
However…
after uninstalling the other three programs, i restarted my pc and went into the safe mode to try and uninstall the uTorrentbar Toolbar from the safe mode. I’m not sure what was happened but safe mode didn’t load up and it started to load the windows normally. When it loaded up avast started normally as it used to be before … I did update it and i’m going for a full scan soon.

my question is: should I continue with your instructions and ignore the uTorrentbar Toolbar?

Yes, if you can not uninstall the uTorrentBar Toolbar then leave it and finish the rest of instructions. Thanks.

alright, all done, and here is the fixlog file.
and again, thank you so much for your assistance :slight_smile:

The computer now seems alright as it was before. I love avast, i’ve been using it for almost 4 years now :slight_smile:

If there’s anything left to do, please let me know. thanks

best regards;
