Avast is Blocking Microsoft login.live.com login for Hotmail and Live

Avast all of the sudden out of the blue is now intermittently identifying https://login.live.com/ (40.90.22.185) as a Threat. I can’t even sign into my hotmail email half the time. One time it does it, the next time it doesn’t and then the following time it does it again. Very annoying and inconvenient.

I don’t know why the entire picture is not showing. I’ll try posting it sideways.

Here is the Avast nshield.log file.

Me too - started yesterday and intermittent. Also happens on Microsoft main site. Annoying!

I get:

Cannot securely connect to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.
Try this:
Go back to the last page

I got an email from Avast Support. I just found it because I just now was able to log into live.com again.

Greetings,

Thank you for contacting Avast with your concerns.

It seems that the provided URL is detected by Google Safe Browsing, as you can see in this report: https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=https:%2F%2F40.90.22.185%2F&hl=en

Once this is resolved in the Google service, Avast should automatically unblock the website as well.

Best Regards,

Ondřej
