avast is blocking reduked.info when pc is connectin to the internet

hello @all,

I have to clean up the Win8.1 PC from my father, because he told me something about some strange behaviour. I’m quite far, but avast still blocks some URLs to redduled.info or reddie.net.

I have seen, that you guys were able to help other pepole with the same issue. Hope you can do the same for me.

I followed your great guide to create the logs and attached them.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Best Regards
Christian

Hi there this will stop the alerts, but there is another service that I would like to take a deeper look at. For that I will need to use a different programme

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

CreateRestorePoint: GroupPolicy: Group Policy on Chrome detected <======= ATTENTION CHR HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google: Policy restriction <======= ATTENTION EmptyTemp: CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

This programme will create a zip file which I will need. As the forum does not allow that type of file to be attached you will need to upload it to a file sharing site for me to collect
Somewhere like mediafire

Download AVZ tool from here to your desktop
Unzip all files to a folder on your desktop
Open the folder and double click the AVZ icon
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/avz.JPG

When the tool opens select “File” > “Standards scripts”

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/avz1.jpg

Place a tick in :

3. Advanced System Analysis with malware removal mode enabled
5. Update signature database

Then press “Execute selected scripts”

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/avz2.JPG

There will be several warnings, OK them all and the system will reboot on completion of the analysis

After the reboot look in the folder AVZ4 on your desktop
Open the LOG folder
Attach KL_syscure.zip to your next post

Hi,

thanks, the messages from AVAST are gone (log attached).

I also used the tool AVZ but I’ve got different logfiles (as in your screenshot) and it was not asking for a restart.

I got These files:
virusinfo_autoquarantine.zip
virusinfo_syscure.htm
virusinfo_syscure.xmlvirusinfo_syscure.zip

I’ve started the tool again, to be sure I selected the correct check boxes…I did but same result. The log files are stored here… http://1drv.ms/1AqURpE

Yes that was the right one  The driver was good, how is the computer now ?

well. at the Moment it is running as a pc usually is doing

Has AVZ removed/changed someting?

No it was just that there was a weird driver that I wanted a second opinion on

You can delete AVZ manually

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:

CryptoPrevent install this programme to lock down and prevent crypto ransome ware

Malwarebytes.

Update and run weekly to keep your system clean

Unchecky

Click on the link above to be taken to Unchecky.com
click the very large Download button.
click Save
Click Open folder
Right click on the Unchecky_setup and choose to Run as Administrator
Once open click the Install button.
Then click on Finish
Unchecky is now installed and will help you keep unwanted check boxes unchecked, this is a fire and forget programme

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.
