avast icon is missing and not working ive got 27 viruses that windows protection picked up and why cant avast it be uninstalled,pleeeeeeeeeease help!!!

What avast processes are running in Task Manager, they begin with ash or asw, see image ?
A corrupt installation could also imped an uninstall, but you don’t say ‘why’ it can’t be uninstalled, e.g. what errors are displayed ?

when i install avast4.8 on my windows(xp and vista) just after i click on installation button windows crashes and shows the blue screen, i re installed windows for a dozen times but it does not matter it crashes again, i have this problem on almost every computer,

Thanks, it’s working again. I uninstalled the Windows Protection Suite and Avast icon immediately came back.
repair avast installation through add/remove programs and update.
