Avast is having updates, 5 KB this is right?

My avast is automatically updated, more noticed since yesterday that updates abated.

Old were 80 KB or more this is true?

I’m upgrading to the same frequency as before.

It might be because you have the latest one. Try checking your updates for today & see if it remains small, though we know that avast’s updates are relatively small in size.

avast uses incremental updates, so you only get what VPS Updates since your last update, so these can on occasions be very small (for which I as a dial-up user am thankful), unlike many others that have much larger non-incremental updates.
