Hi,
my problem is that on a Win7-64bit machine Avast 2015.10.0.22.08 is not compatible with gpg4win (V2.2.3).
Until Avast is running with active file-scan module (German: Dateisystem-Schutz) then the application “Kleopatra” raised some exceptions.
If I switch-off the Avast file scan module, then everything is fine.
I thing this behaviour is a issue of Avast and not of gpg4win.
Can anybody double-check this?
Regards
Which version of avast?
Free? Pro? AIS? Premier?

Kleopatra is a certificate manager.
Did you import the avast certificate ?

Yes, Kleopatra is the certificate manager from the gpg4win package.
No, I didn’t.
Only the lunch of Kleopatra will cause the exception.
Steps to reproduce:
→ with active Avast file scan you get an exception
→ without Avast file scan Kleopatra runs normal
Workaround:
I can put the compete directory (GnuPG) in the AVAST exclusion list. But this is for me not really a solution for security software …

It could be the fix is already implemented in the latest avast version.
Upgrade and check I would say.
