On 20 Mar 2010 I got some type of virius,I think. In the internet explorer bar the address is info-defender.com/purchase?pchwin&r=68.0 The page says purchase Antivirius software. A window pops up stating my computer is infected in files wsauclt.exe and wschftu.exe, and do I want to stop the attack by purchasing the software.
I ran a Avast boot and full scans, nothing was dectected. When I try to go to another URL on the same page, or open another window, I can not. So, on that computer I can’t even download any program to try to get rid of this problem.
I can get to my files through windows explorer. Also a bunch of sheilds keep appearing on my taskbar. I’m using another computer to post this. So, what’s my best couse of action to fix this problem?

OTL will now run
[*]double-click on the Custom Scans box and a message box will popup asking if you want to load a custom scan from a file
Select Scan.txt that you downloaded
[*]Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
[*]When the scan completes, it will open a notepad window with the contents of the scan - OTL.txt
[*]You can either press the reboot button and after your computer has restarted you will see the OTL.txt and a further file - Extras.txt on you desktop.
Post the contents of both files back here.
[*]Or alternatively you highlight Ctrl A and copy Ctrl C and click the Internet Explorer button and post the scan results back here. Once you have your desktop back you can access and post the Extras.txt

Downloading and run ComboFix from this link.
* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop
[*]Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools
[*]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
[*]As part of it’s process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it’s strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
[*]Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.
**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it’s malware removal procedures.
