Hello,
I have set up an exception folder, where my C++ applications are being developed, Avast keep checking files in that folder tree, though.
Is it the way Avast works?
Thank you very much.

First I’m an Avast User and not an Avast Team member.
Can you attach a screenshot of the entry for the exception, you can obscure a part of the file name $$$ etc. if it isn’t something you want to post in a public forum.
Then someone could check that:
a. the exception is correctly formatted.
b. you say they are being scanned/checking, how do you know this and does it match exactly the exception created ?
I just wonder if when creating the app it might be running outside that location, temp area etc. I’m not even sure if this would include memory or not.
Hello,
Thank you very much for answering me.
Never mind, it was my fault. The folder path was wrong.
Kind regards.

You’re welcome.
