Everytime I clear my cache cookies etc avast asks me that google chrome wants to use the webcam. Whats this about?
I believe it is the default setting for Google Chrome. automatically it always requests it. and avast gives the alert. This is the browser’s fault, I believe you have to disable it in the browser so it doesn’t keep asking for it.

I have only used Firefox in the past but even though loaded ive never used Chrome or Edge.
Ive had to do some tech checks due to a vpn issue so loaded 3 sites into chrome and edge (one being this forum) and i get the exact same popup from Avast.
tbh id rather get this popup to warn me than nothing happen and it attempt to load my cam which i have blocked anyway.
I will have a look in brouser settings to see if i can deactivate the warning.
