Avast keeps popping up a Threat Secured notice (JS:ScriptIP-inf[Trj]

However, if it is Secured, why does it keep popping up…I can only stop it by shutting off Web Shield, otherwise I can’t get anything done!
It goes on to say We’ve Safely Aborted connection on www.urldelivery.com because it was infected with JS:ScriptIP-inf[Trj], then states: More threats may be lurking! Scan My PC
I use Firefox 59 (just updated today) on Windows 10 (1709, updated), Avast Free, all updated.
I have done a Full vius scan, a Boot-Time scan, run Malwarebytes free, and adwcleaner7.0.8.0 and no problems.
Anyone have any ideas???

try clear browser surf history/cache and reboot

any change?

Thanks Pondus, but I’ve tried that, and also did a refresh on Firefox…didn’t work

Follow instructions … READ IT ALL BEFORE YOU START

instructions >> https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=194892.0

also include a screenshot of avast pop up warning

I can’t send a screenshot yet, as the Avast Web shield has been turned off for a few days so that I could work on the computer, but I have attached the log files you requested.
I have turned the Web Shield back on, but so far, no pop up

My guess is that culprit is one of the Firefox extensions you have. Disable adblockgmail and report if Avast Web Shield detects same thing.

Thanks for the tip Sass Drake, but since I turned Web Shield back on, the pop up hasn’t popped up…I mean, I’m not complaining, but not sure why it stopped.
I just did another update on Avast…to 18.4.2338 (build 18.4.3895.0)
I will advise if it ever show up again, but fingers crossed, maybe it’s gone!
