So,every now and then, Avast will just decide to kill my browser connection to internet in random webpages for no reason. For example a month ago I was trying to access a reddit post and all of a sudden my browser would just stay at “establishing a secure connection”, and proceed to fail to load the page, after that I would be unable to load ANY webpage as I would get the same problem for like 20 minutes, and this happened in all the browsers (Tried with Chrome, explorer, opera and firefox). After those 15-20 minutes pass everything would return to normal as long as I didn’t try to open the webpage that caused the problem, trying to load a “problematic” webpage would get the same problem every single time.
After a period of time (normally 3-4 hours) and several restarts (Due to confirming the webpage and avast were causing the problem), I would be able to load the “problematic” webpage just fine.
I’m sure its avast since while all this happens, Avast service was using a ridiculous amount of ram (around 2-2.5 gbs) and a the whole disk (90%ish, number was around 20Mb/s) as well as a nice chunk of the cpu (around 20% of an Intel inside G4600). And when the problem stops, they would return to their normal numbers. Trying to deactivate the web shield would just freeze Avast. Closing the browser/webpage does nothing to solve the problem.
Today it happened again, but this time avast instead of using a lot of resources just totally froze, for like one and a half hrs. probably would’ve been more but I decided to re start my pc to see if that fixed it. Avast didn’t started automatically for some reason. But the problem persisted.
A week ago happened with a fb post, today with a game debate forum post.
And its just specifically the browsers, since using other apps that use internet (Steam, league of legends, Itunes, etc) would work just fine.
I’ve been using Avast for what it seems like an eternity now, but this problem never appeared until I upgraded to Win10.
Anyone any idea of what is happening? 
I really like avast but this is getting really really annoying.
