No 1 is fixed in the latest build of avast! 4.8 I believe, and No 2 is ridiculous; the 400.vps file is, just as any other avast! files, protected by avast! self-defense.

So according to Igor,the vulnerabilities doesn’t really exist.Hope that helps.
