Avast Locks up World of warcraft

Just like the title says the gaming mode of avast is locking up the game as well as stoping the game from writing info (Saving) to its files for addons… only way to stop this from happening (due to testing) is by completely removing Avast from the PC…

shouldnt have to remove an Anti virus from my pc specially when you pay for it… is there anyway to uninstall or remove the gaming mode part of the program … AND BEFORE YOU ASK! yes i turn it off and tested it … does the same thing… locks the game up to a point you have to
A: Crash the Program
B: Wait 20 mins (roughly) for it to crash / Disconnect (from the server)

Constantly replacing the files that are remove (or Reset) is annoying…

What exact version of avast ? Program Verson 17.3.2291 ---- Virus Definition 170504-0
Is there any other security (related) software installed ? No other Security Software beside Default Win10 (Windows Defender)
Already performed a repair of avast ? Yes (it was reinstall after i installed Win10)
Already performed a clean installation with the latest avast version ? Yes (when i reinstalled Win10)

Seems like i’m not only one having the issue … according to the people who build the addon … they have said

Is it the file shield or gaming mode?

Or is it a combination of both?

You are using a old version of avast.
Perform a clean installation with the latest one and check if the problem is solved.

Its the gaming mode… gonna do a reinstall again since bot said its old verson

Not sure why you guys put gaming mode into Avast… its stoping some games from writing to the Disk… that is kinda stupid…

Yup still making the game hang …
