Avast Mobile Security does not install apps anymore!

Hi,

normally I used to install all my applications through the Avast App, but since two days I can’t do that. I click on a APK and avast pops up, but NOTHING happens. It shows me one problem, but it is the same problem that it shows the whole time: Unknown sources are allowed.

I use the OmniRom 4.4.4 without any google software on it. In the beginning everything worked really well, but since two days avast doesn’t want to install any application at all. If I uninstall Avast, I can install everything I like, but after installing Avast I just can’t install anything.

I really like Avast and used the desktop client since Home Edition back in 2003, that is why I would like to use Avast Mobile Security on my phone, too. So could you explain me, how I could get the apps installed?

Hi, it’s probably an issue of the latest build. You can install APKs in a regular way and, if there is any malware contained, the AMS will find it immediately thanks to the realtime protection and will notify you of the danger.
