Hi,
I’ve got AMS latest version under Lollipop 5.0.2 stock rom on Nexus 7 2012 (Nvidia Tegra based model). Apart the well known memory issue that this device has on 16gb ssd version (due to poor nand and and a bad memory controller) I see that uninstalling AMS gives the tablet an evident better speed and less lags. I tried to clean the program cache as well before uninstalling it. Performances were not impacted by AMS under Kitkat 4.4.4. Does AMS need some more optimization to run smooth under Lollipop on old devices like mine. It’s not a trim issue (as you may know Google changed the trim schedule radically on 5.0.2 and the improvement is quite noticeable). Scanning an application just after its installation is a heavy task that makes the tablet laggy and not reactive for a few seconds for example. Also application run is more slow when AMS is installed.
Any chance to see some improvements in performance in the next version?
