Avast network shield BLOCK ALL HTTP connection

Hi,

i’m avast fan for long time. but today avast let me down.

after hours of troubleshooting, i’m sure that avast network shield is the one block all http connection.

when i turn off the shield, i can surf normally. why this happen?
there’s 0 blocked show in statistics

is this a new computer? was it delivered with a preinstalled antivirus? do you have a firewall?

not new.
fresh install windows 8
default firewall i think…only have avast fot security apps

On windows 8 pro(fresh install) avast free blocked utorrent connection to private trackers. But for me http connections were working in browser as well as in utorrent (public trackers).
After turning off the network shield, utorrent was able to make connection to private trackers. Is it safe to work on PC with the network shields off.

As Pondus asked, was there any pre-installed anti-virus?
If there was how was it uninstalled? ???

Try to deselect “Scan web(HTTP) traffic” under Web Shield control. But I recommend you to download the new installer and reinstall avast! using the new installer.
