Not that I know of. But you can always visit avast.com and click on “news” or “blog”. 
The news section that Para-Noid refers to can be sent by email.

The blog is different, you will have to get the RSS feed for that one

I didn’t even realise that it was in the support section…You can find it when viewing one of the news articles, this button is on the right. That’s how I found it
Why couldn’t they just have an RSS feed for the News section ???

How is that related to what you quoted, it doesn’t matter if you have an RSS reader if the avast news doesn’t have a news RSS subscription.
