avast not responding

hello

i am using avast premier.when i tap on update or subscription or anything in settings option, then my avast gets hang and do not responds.

even when i try to end task from task manager it do not ends. it still says “not responding” in task manager and avast still not get close.

so i need to restart my pc to solve it.

what i do now?

Did you try a repair of Avast first :

  1. Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Avast! - Change.
  2. Repair.
  3. Follow the instructions.
  4. Reboot.

i tried to repair avast after reading ur reply.

it do not hangs now. i hope avast will work normal.

If this happens again download the latest full clean file of AIS or Premier of your choice to keep on your HD, and also download the Avast Uninstall Utility Tool https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility

And do a complete uninstall using the Avast Uninstall Utility Tool once everything is clean out from your HD, and to a clean installed of AIS and you shouldn’t have any further issue at all and it should run back to normal make sure you back your Avast setting first before you do a complete uninstall.
