I have today tried to install Avast One Free Antivirus to my Tablet (Galaxy S10 FE) running Android 15, but in Android Settings it shows that the Avast One Service is off, and it cannot be toggled on.
I would appreciate basic level instructions on how to fix this issue. I’m experienced with Windows, but new to Andoid !
I cannot see any option to Edit my previous post so I’m posting this. When I accessed again the option to enable the Avast One service, whereas before it could not be toggled On, today it was possible.
Thus the Avast One service is now On.
Therefore a Reply to this query is no longer needed.
I have no explanation why the latter option was “freed-up” today!

Settings > Accessibility > Installed apps > Avast One Service
