Avast! Online Security Extension and Firefox 28.0

I just updated Firefox 28 with Avast! Online Security 9.0.2016.82. It seems to be working fine. ;D
That said, one of my other extensions, “Is it Compatible?”, reports that Avast Online Security has been certified compatible only with Firefox v. 3.0-25.0. This makes me wonder whether:

  • The “Is it Compatible?” message is a false positive, and there is a trivial portion of the Avast Online Security extension script that needs to be updated to avoid triggering the message, or
  • There may be a security issue with the Avast Online Security extension in Firefox in FF versions beyond 25.0.

I did not find anything in the forum addressing this issue. Can anyone shed additional light on whether to be concerned about this?

It should work. Do you have any other “privacy” extensions?
I had a conflict between AOS and Do Not Track Me and ended up disabling the AOS.
There have been others with the same conflict and others who didn’t have any conflicts.
