Hi, since the last program update the green icon of avast online security plugin has disappeared on internet explorer. The plugin works well, but I can’t see the icon on the browser, or when I’m into a website. I see the green icons only when I make a reserarch, near the searching results. Usually it stayed also nex to the settings bar in the upper part of the browser, like in chrome or FF, but I can’t see it. I have looked in the browser options, but I can’t find a way to visualize it. Can anyone help me please? I have windows 7 and IE 9
First off you need to update your browser to the current version of IE11 then the AOS icon should be visible next to the white home button at the top right of your IE browser, AOS is no longer on a separate toolbar.
Hi, I have another computer, with windows xp and the last version of internet explorer for XP, that is the number 8. On that pc I can see the green icon next to the home button, as you said, also if IE is not version 11.
About two days ago, on this computer I’m using now, with windows 7 and IE 9, I was able to see the green icon of AOS, but after avast program update the icon disappeared. I know that my browser is not updated to version 11, but since two days ago there was no problem with AOS. Is there a way to make the green icon to appear again on my browser?
Have you tried an avast repair?
Well same scenario here, using windows 7 64 bits full updated and no avast icon on internet explorer 11…
I have a clean windows 7 installation less than a week older.
You are the third person I’ve seen report this now and all were using win7, “possible bug” :-\
Exactly the same here. Plugin enabled, working…but no icon. IE11 win 7 64 bit.
