I have premire and cleanup for 3 computers.I bought password but not available for 3 .I bought 2 lisc.password i want to add one more computer do i have to buy password for each computer?
If you aren’t happy with the free version of the password manager then the answer is yes.
Thanks for reply My error i was under the impression that the password for premium was for the access to settings of the premium virus program.
Avast premier, CleanUp and passwords are three different things.
For the first two you need a license/subscription.
avast passwords is free in any (Windows) version of the avast av.

If you only want to synchronize your passwords, there is no need to buy the premium version.
Just enable synchronization.
Thanks for the info.I also added android phone but that is way to much advertisement.I have used the free versions for several years and everything worked fine.Once i started to buy the program everything turned into a mess.i am completely ignorant with software stuf. thats why i pay for the product.i just dont like the bits and pieces addons.make one program that covers all of it and keep updates on it.i have a phone a laptop and a desktop.on my account it keeps telling me to turn on shiels on the system and they are,but dont show it in the account as active. i ended up with some nasty malware on my phone,oh well i i will just not check on the status and let things go the way they will.im 67 and dont want to use up my time worrying about this thanks all the best from Alaska
As they say “there is no such thing as free thing”.
avast is using the “freemium model” meaning they provide free software (up to a point) but these software will give you ads.
The free software is attracting (potential) new customers and are generating (some) income for avast in the mean while.
And if people are annoyed/irritated buy the ads, they hope those people will buy their software.
In the paid software they say there will be no advertising.
Guess what…
In some of their software there still is if you don’t turn it off yourself
About one program that covers all…
Sure it can be programmed that way but that would mean that if someone wants it, it would cost hundreds of $$$ and people are not willing to pay that much.
Next to that people like to have choices on what they want.
e.g.
- If I use webmail only why would I pay for a email scanner when my provider is already scanning it for free ?
- If I already have a good firewall (hardware one), why would I pay for a software one too ?
And as far for the subscriptions, avast is saying they are working on a cross platform licensing subscriptions.
But they are saying that for over 6 months
And the info on the avast account (my.avast.com) is something that avast still haven’t got working correctly in over 2 years !
What you see there depends on the avast products and version you are using, the Android versions you are using etc.
