A week ago, I could open my Avast Password Manager vault and it would recommend logins and autofill. Now, every time I try to login to a website, APM demands the vault password. This is very annoying.and negates the purpose of the App. I’ll be forced to revert to PassWord Safe, as at least it is reliable.
As long as you dont close your browser the vault should stay open and auto fill. as soon as you close your browser you will need to log into the vault again each time you open the browser.
not great i know but looks like this is what we have to put up with now.
There are settings that saying like “Ask Valut password every time before filling forms” and “Keep Valut open for 7 days”. You may have (wrongly) enabled former one. Latter one may be fitted for your purpose.

Keep open for 7 days does not work for me, I have turned it on and off and rebooted each time but still need vault password every time. Why ? Uninstall extension and reinstall maybe ? Very annoying
open password manager > click 3 lines top right > settings > see all settings at bottom of list > make sure top toggle switch is turned off and second one turned on.
you can then go back in to each password and edit each log in so for instance like banks to always ask for password each time. all other should be open for the 7 days.
If you have it setup like this already then i have no idea what else to try.
