Avast Passwords extension won't work in SlimJet browser

I recently installed the SlimJet browser because Chrome was crashing my computer.
Avast Online Security extension works, but the Passwords extension does not. It is in the SlimJet’s settings/extensions list. It is enabled, but the actual extension icon is off on SlimJet’s extensions bar (obscured) and Avast Passwords won’t actually work like it did in Chrome. Clicking on the obscured extension icon brings up an error message stating that the extension is not activated, to activate it first.
