Avast passwords not working

My avast passwords is impossible to reinstall. It keeps being stuck in a loading loop.

I haven’t been able to use this for 2 weeks already. This is really pissing me off. Paying for something i cannot use.

Can anyone fix this issue please! I have been sitting on broken Passwords application for months!

EDIT: i have completely reinstalled Avast, finally got the avast passwords working a bit. Stuck on trying to enable One Touch. I keep pressing “Start now” but nothing happens. this is amazing.

Ok I fixed the 2nd problem too. In order to fix it, you have to go to settings then click on Sync then login to your avast account again from passwords app. After you login, then you can enable One Touch.

Ok so synchronizing the application crashes it. Now i have this showing up

and Avast Passwords is stuck in infinite loop again

And now it fixed itself after messing around with the glitchy app forever. Thanks.

I just got off the phone with AVAST tech support because I cant access my passwords, and was told they NO LONGER SUPPORT passwords! The woman sounded like she was in an Indian call center and no knowledge of the product whatsoever. Horrible tech experience. Maybe its time to dump AVAST.

I totally agree…it was very disrespectful of AVAST to cancel the password saver without prior warning to it’s users…This has left ma and probably many others in a difficult position of having no access to their passwords! I intend to find a new security company that is dependable! I have paid premiums for almost all of AVAST products and now this…It’s just wrong!

Discontinuation has been announced for a very long time. If you called Avast, you called third part support.
Avast does not have direct phone support.

If they discontinued it, why is it still popping up to try to fill in passwords?

And where did they announce it? I didn’t receive any email regarding this.

We will continue to provide support to those who already have Avast Passwords installed, where possible.

How can it be discontinued when there are lots of people who paid 3 years license, for example? That’s my case, by the way. I had to reinstall Avast “Premium” Security and my passwords had just vanished.

I have had the same issue as the other customers; my Avast Passwords disappeared from my Privacy menu.

I note the article explained why the suspension of support was occurring I also note that the service may appear in Breach Guard. That leaves me a bit frustrated; firstly IF passwords is moving to Breach Guard then why turn it off beforehand, secondly, isn’t breach guard a separate subscription? While I already have breach guard other users may not; so does that mean to get the previously included Password Manager they would now have to pay for it?

I hope AVAST doesn’t start behaving like some of the other tech companies breaking up products so customers have to pay more.
