avast pop up window for upgrade

We have had to uninstall avast due to a corporate requirement to use McAfee and Windows 10Pro - since uninstall was completed - we continue to get the Avast Upgrade utility pop up window all day long -

How do we get this to stop???

Easy, remove avast completely and not partially as you have done now.

Nope, that is not removing everything.

  • Remove all folders/files
  • Remove all registry entries pointing to avast
  • Reboot.

Using the Avast Uninstall tool will stop the updater from appearing even if it doesn’t remove every trace. :slight_smile:
