Everytime i turn on my laptop an avast pop up comes up saying
Suspicious file blocked!
Avast! Web Shield has blocked a harmful webpage or file.
Infection: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]
Avast blocked this but im wondering am i infected, should i be worried can i do anything to remove this?

aswMBR is not yet Windows 8 compatible.
Evo-Gen (susp) means suspicious so maybe no infection, but a false positive.
ive scanned my laptop with spybot-search and destroy, avast, rkill and tdsskiller.exe and they all say there’s no malware or anything of the sort. Right now i can’t get the screenshot, ill hopefully get it later today and post it

Thats a false positive from Windows update.
Right click on the file in quarantine and click report to virus lab. Choose possible false positive there and fill the form.
Quarantine is available under Scan>Quarantine (at the bottom)
Or under Maintenance Virus-Container (Version 8 and older)
