Avast Premier Security: After Boot Scan Reports Folder is Missing

Hello,

In Avast Premier Security application, I triggered the Boot time scan by clicking the “RUN ON NEXT PC REBOOT” green button. This morning, when the computer restarted, the Scan began and lasted for about 2 hours. From around 11AM through 1PM. As the scan ran, I read that I would find the report in C:\Program Files\Avast Software\Avast\report but right after the scan, once the operating system allowed me to, I navigated to C:\Program Files\Avast Software\Avast\ and found the “report” folder was missing.

What could be the problem?

You should find it here: C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report

The boot-time scan (as that appears to be what the OP is looking for) is in the C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log folder and if memory serves me correctly the file name is aswboot.log.

I also think that there is a second file but I can’t recall the name, but I believe it is very similar.

Where did you read that the report would be in C:\Program Files\Avast Software\Avast.… ?
