Avast Premier - slowing my computer to a virtual stand stil

Hi, I have upgraded to Avast Premier and now my computer has almost ground to a halt. If I I disable all 5 shields it works fine, but no security. Has anyone got any ideas. I was considering completely uninstalling Premier, then running an uninstaller for the previous version, then re-installing. However, I am not sure how to do this. If anyone has any advice I would be very grateful. Thanks :slight_smile:
