Any changelog?
This version hasn’t arrived on my computer yet. What’s going on?
There’s an update available on the free version (i’m still on 24.11), but as is the trend these days we’ll have to wait a week for the update post on here.

And the… trend of experience may suggest, in the absence of particular emergencies, to wait at least another week (after the official post) to ensure that no “big” issues are reported that would advice to delay (or even avoid) the update.
Just checked and its sitting there waiting even though once again ive got it set to auto update.
24.12.9694a (build 24.12.9694.0) instaled and log is just bug fixes.

I guess eventually @lukas.hasik will formally announce the new 24.12 version together with online/offline download links and change log.

Why is this taking so long, since it was released on December 3rd via update.
Today is December 12th, 9 days ago. more than a week so far nothing.
I think this version (24.12.9694) is released Dec 10, not Dec 3. Even for beta it’s around Dec 6 according to New beta version 24.12.6140.
mine was december 3rd as well.
its a staggered roll out so we will all get it at different times depending what country we are in.

I think the release date it shows in the UI is when the update itself was completed on Avast’s end, not the date they pushed it out.

I am really puzzled by 24.12 as a new beta of that version was issued yesterday, after some have reported here that production 24.12 had been received.
Has the production version escaped prematurely?
There has been no official Avast announcement of 24.12 production release, together with changelog and online/offline installer links here on the forum as yet.
I for one will hold off updating to 24.12 until such an announcement.
