avast premium - AV not recognized as active after Win 10 Pro/64 KB4532441

Avast Premium ver. 19.8.2393 on Windows 10 Pro/64, build 1909 (ver. 18363.535). After Dec. 2019 WU (KB4532441), Security Center does not recognize AV component as active. “Turn On” button in Security Center has no effect. Firewall is recognized as active. Repair installation x2 has no effect. No change in settings, all core shields present and correct.

Any ideas?

Make that two updates: KB4532441 (Autopilot) and KB4530684 (Dec 2019 Cumulative Update)

And it’s fixed. A reboot after the second repair (from within AvastUI) restored the connection to Win 10’s Security Center. I don’t know what got fixed, or why.

And yes, I’m officially confused.
