Avast Premium Security is causing Win11 New Install to slowly freeze up

I had some corrupted files on my PC and made some hardware improvements, so I did a fresh install of Windows 11. Previously, I was using Avast Premium Security. Every so often my computer would slowly freeze up. Sometimes I could open task manager and sometimes I couldn’t. But anytime this happened I could never restart and had to hard shutdown.

Back to the fresh install of win11… I got everything back up and running and install avast. Now that experience of everything slowly freezing happened every single time I opened avast premium secuirty. I could never do anything with it.
So I tried to repair the install. Did not improve.
I uninstalled avast. Ok. Computer worked much better.
Tried to install avast again and the freezing up happened during the install.

I hard shut down and then my PC was stuck in bitlocker. I could never get it to boot up. I had to use a restore point before I installed Avast, which luckily worked.

I don’t want to install avast again until I know what was going on here.

Update: I went without Avast for a few days with no issues, but then the same thing started happening with Chrome. So I uninstalled Chrome, installed Firefox. I don’t have the issue with Firefox.

So I decided that the system was stable again and installed Avast Premium Security. It installed succesfully. But when I started the quick scan… issue happened again.
So I did a diagnostic boot. I ran Avast Premium Security without any issues in the state of windows without everything running.

It was able to run the complete first scan. But when I did a normal boot… I thought I might use Avast’s recorder in settings but it froze up before the recorder could compile everything.

I’m still having the problem and it only happens with I try using Avast Premium. I need help!
