avast premium security virus definitions do not update

I have paid avast premium security.
I try to update the virus definitions, but apparently it can’t because it keeps giving me a message that the virus definitions are out of date.
I’m using windows version 11.

avast program version 22.12.6044 (build 22.12.7758.771)
virus definitions version 231024-8

That is a very old Program version, the latest avast program version is 23.10.6086 (build 23.10.8563.800), almost a year out of date.

I don’t know if this has anything to do with your problem, but I would suggest updating your Avast Program version first and restart your system. Check if this also updates the virus definitions, current latest is 231031-10.
