Avast pro antivirus keeps disconnecting my internet

Hi, I have just purchased avast pro antivirus and since I have purchased it, every 30 minutes or so my internet connection goes down for a few seconds and then comes back. it happens both when the computer is wired and also when I use the wifi. The most annoying part is that it happens mid game and then I have to reconnect to new server every time and it drives me crazy! I tried looking for an answer but it seems like all of the answers are for the internet security version… what to do because I have purchased it from a third party seller and one I used the activation key I cant get a refund.
Help would be highly appreciated.

Tried it already. just uninstalled the program and everything is back to normal. just gonna ask for a refund because this is ridiculous…

If Repair doesn’t fix the problem, try the following:
If your Avast settings are not the default settings and you want them restored after the Clean Install, follow this before removing Avast.
