Avast services will not start / have removed hdd and ran walware megabytes/ superspyware/ avast on a clean machine //no viruses detected>> Other services also stopped and when I try to start them I get access denied??

For a repair of avast. Windows, Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button from the pop-up window, scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.
Went to uninstall progs selected avast, there was no repair so I uninstalled the program,I had tried to do this before but it would not reload the program after it was uninstalled, so I did a restore… This time after it was uninstalled I checked my services and all were running none stopped. I reloaded avast it updated prog and it is running fine att??? Why it didn’t do this two days ago I would like to know!!! Thanks for your help…
i have just discovered today that my avast pro is not working, it says: the avast service has been stopped, or is in an inconsistent state. please restart the program to resume protecting your system. i click the start the program button, it loads but nothing happens, i also clicked the fix now button, still nothing happens. i try to do the quick scan but it says: unable to start the scan. there are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper. what will i do to fix this problem? your help will be so much appreciated… thanks…
