Could this be a result of the recent emergency update ?

I have only seen one go through as my Firewall has Anti-leak (a.k.a. HIPS) that is very hot on changed/new components accessing certain areas. I get about 6-8 popups for the EM Update, not to mention I get at least 1 from WinPatrol.
That is certainly the topic I was thinking about with others reporting no change after the EM Update.

Ok It is the same. For a moment there I thought there was another one this afternoon while I was out. Did not have anything in my HIPS ( BTW I have it not to alert me but to log it ) either nor my WP history showed anything.
Avast is taking time to fix this one. It is a miracle the forum is not flooding with users trying to register their paid programs.

But the Emergency Update from last night introduced it on both my systems.
So I don’t think it is fixed.

Today, Avast Internet Security will display subscription information by right-clicking on Subscription information of the Avast tray icon on both machines.
Oddly, yesterday after the emupdate was applied and even after a couple of reboots, it was not fixed. Today, a miracle. 8)

I still can’t get it to work on Windows 10

Update both virus defenitions and program from the GUI and reboot Windows.
That is what I just did on both my systems to get it working again.
