I have just installed Avast v 5.0.594. My O/S is Vista.
For emails I am using Windows Mail with Google Mail. POP3 not IMAP.
With Avast Mail Shield running I get an error inWindows Mail and messages are not sent. Avast Information states thar a secure connection has been detected. Need to disable SSL/TLS in Mail Client. Presumably if I do this this email will work. But cannot find where to disable SSL/TLS in Windows Mail.
Please help.
If I disable Avast Mail Shield the email works fine.
