So I’ve been using avast for almost a year now. Well my subscription is still active, but when I open the Avast interface it says that the program is turned off. On the orange ball icon, it has a reed x over it. i tried to turn on the program but nothing happens. Also, in the interface, it wouldnt display the current engine version, product version, or the expiration date. It also doesnt allow me to scan or update the product. In case its important, Im on a Windows Vista. Also, I uninstalled Avast and reinstalled it again as a trial. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

i am having the same pb. but mine, i cannot run the program at all. I can’t even uninstal it or do anything with it. what should I do?
I used malwarebite anti malware and SuperSpy to kill any virus, but it is not working and my taskmanager is disable, my Registry too. pliz help.
