Hola a todos, instalé hace poco el avast, en su version home 4.8. la verdad esq me agradó mucho, lo encontré un gran programa, pero tiene una cosa q me molesta un tanto. es tan seguro q ni los videos de youtube me deja ver, ninguno, me dice q no están disponibles, pero si cierro el antivirus o cierro la aplicación de seguridad “web” no tengo problemas para ver los videos… acabo de instalar también el IE8 … quizás sea ese el problema ?? porque tengo un amigo q tiene el avast con IE7 y no ha tenido problemas. eliminé y reinstalé tanto el flash como el shockwave y sigue el problema, lo mas raro es que no tengo problema alguno con todo activado, pero si veo los videos en formato HD

Hi everybody, i was install the avast 4.8 home version, The truth I pleased me very much, is a very good program, but a thing has me troublesome rather. is so sure that I can´t see the videos of youtube, none, says to me that they are not available, but if I close the antivirus or close the “web protection” I do not have problems to see the videos . I have just installed also the IE8 … probably is it this problem?? Because I have a friend that has the avast with IE7 and he hadn’t problems. I eliminated and reinstated both the flash and the shockwave and it continues with problems. The strange issue is that I do not have any problem with everything activated, but if I see the videos in HD format.

What version of the Adobe Flash player do you have? Sometimes updating to the latest might help.

You got the latest version of your browser and windows is still updating ? You can alway check your program if its all up to date

Maybe you should try removing IE8. and go back to IE7, see if that works.

I use IE8 & Firefox to play YouTube videos with Avast running, no problems so far.
-You could try to run IE8 in compatibility mode and see if that works.
-Make sure you have the final version of IE8 and not a Beta.
-Try updating Java, that could help.
-Try downloading the Flash uninstaller form Adobe.com (unistalling from Windows does not always clean the system), then reinstall Flash.
-I’m not one of those anti-Microsoft fanatics, but I find Firefox easier to deal with.

Yo uso IE8 y Firefox para ver videos de YouTube sin ningún problema.
-Podrías operar IE8 en modo de compatibilidad para ver si eso ayuda.
-Asegúrate que tienes la versión final de IE8 y no una versión Beta.
-Actualiza Java, podría ayudar.
-Descarga el desinstalador para Flash desde Adobe.com (desinstalar desde Windows no siempre limpia el sistema), luego reinstala Flash.
-No soy de los fanáticos anti Microsoft, pero Firefox es más fácil de manejar.
