The Avast product has now become annoying. So, it checked my phone regularly for threats. Great! That’s what it is supposed to do, but I don’t need a report that all is OK every time. Just report by exception, I.e. when something is wrong. Why am I getting a “now would be a good time to check your Wi-Fi security” when I’m using the same connection that was tested yesterday?? For a product I have actually paid for, there is too much passive advertising.
There’s no paid version of Avast Battery Saver, afaik.
What exact product are you talking about stu-gould as there is no paid version for the battery saver ?
Hi,
actually there is a BS version in stage rollout (not available to all users yet) which offers paid version.
Stu could you please specify what do you mean by passive advertisement?
Thanks.
Hi Stepan, good to know. Cheers.
Ok, so there is a paid version.
But the OP is speaking about “checking for threats” and that sound to me like the AMS.
