Need help to know why does avast take so long to do a full scan, I have in fact deleted files that I did not need and cleaned up disc and so forth.
my full scans from avast takes any were from 40 mins to more.

HD size, amount of files…
have you changed default avast scan settings…
My files are few I realy do not have a lot in files on my pc.
I don’t know I may have the default set and if i do would that change how fast avast scans?
I unchecked default settings not sure if this would help to do that.
