I am constantly being asked to allow connectiosn after having clicked ‘Forever’. Onedrivesetup.exe, Dropbox setup and Icarus.exe are three examples. I have allowed them forever many, many, times but still I am asked. Is this normal or is there some step I can take?
icarus.exe uses different path time to time, thus firewall recognizes it as “new” applications each time. I’m not sure how Onedrive and Dropbox installer works but it may be the same.
Avast firewall seems to be designed to be used with “Smart mode” (auto-decide), “Ask” mode may results too frequent alerts.
