Avast safeprice pop up!

Hi guys,

I updated Avast lately and since then I get that “Avast Safeprice” ad popping up every time I open Mozilla Firefox… Best way to get pissed at a reliable software and go for its competitor…

Just remove it as you would any other component - AvastUI > Settings > Components - scroll down to ‘SafePrice browser extension’ and uninstall it.

Do delete Avast Safeprice For Google Chrome: Right click on any icon to the right of the address bar, in the dropdown menu select manage extensions, look for the Avast Safe price extension, select it and click on the trash can. The extension will be removed. I just did this. I don’t know if it will come back because I don’t know how Avast put it there in the first place.

I do wish that Avast would stick to its mission and continue to get better at that. I have other ways to get coupons thank you.

Removing it completely from avast as I mentioned, will not only remove the potential for reinstallation or being on any other browsers you might have.

Start using the custom install instead of the default and you can choose what to install or leave out.
