Say I installed kaspersky then avast one and did a full scan with avast would it cause any problems or would the scan still be fine and accurate?
Installing to resident antivirus program isn’t advisable, there is much room for conflict between the two.

I agree with our friend DavidR, he said everything, you can’t use two antivirus programs at the same time, choose a protection program that will solve your problem.

But would avast or kaspersky detect one another or turn themself off? But if I did a full scan with avast would it still workout fine

I don’t know because we used to have kaspersky but then we went to avast but idk if my dad uninstalled kaspersky while we did a full scan
If you are paranoid, maybe you should get a Chromebook where you dont need a AV (no reported cases at the moment, but nothing is 100% )

Well, if you are running either Windows 10 or 11, both are protected automatically by Microsoft Defender. This is their default antivirus for Windows. You do not need to install another antivirus program according to Microsoft.
When an user installs a third-party antivirus, (Kaspersky or Avast or other) Microsoft Defender will automatically detect the new antivirus and disable itself on restart of your system.
Automatic disabling does not happen with any third-party antivirus; all installed antivirus programs will continue to run on restart.
Uninstalling the antivirus you do not want is recommended.
Microsoft Defender cannot be uninstalled, which is why Microsoft disables their antivirus. Doing so will prevent conflicts which can damage or cause corruption to your operating system. When they disable their antivirus they are following best practices for user safety and optimal operation.
I’d suggest following Microsoft practices by uninstalling your first or second antivirus. You will prevent corruption of your operating system if you uninstall.
You do not get better protection against malware by running two antivirus programs at the same time.
