A few days ago I opened up task manager and found several Avast browser update processes, like 12 of them.
Had to restart the pc to get them stopped. Now I found several temp folders in my program files(x86) folder.
GUM2B5E.temp, GUM3E05.temp and others, there is 21 of them.
They are all have the same files including AvastBrowserCrashHandler.exe, AvastBrowserUpdate.exe, AvastBrowserUpdateBroker.exe, AvastBrowserComRegisterShell64.exe, AvastBrowserUpdateCore.exe and many more.
my question is what are they, can i delete them and why are they there.
I would have posted a screenshot but not sure how to insert in post.
Since updating to Version 20.4, the Bank Mode window no longer works on one of my computers but it does on another under the same subscription. Please advise. I need this feature to be working asap. Thanks.
Please post your Diagnostic Information output. You can get it by visiting this link: secure://settings/diagnosticInfo
For problems with Bank Mode, also attach szb.log which is located here: C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log
Even though the browser that I was having trouble with (Bank Mode not working) is the new version, I installed it again and that fixed the issue. Just thought I’d share this fix that worked for me.
Every time I try and install Avast Secure Browser on my desk top, I get the message “This Site Can’t Be Reached”, with the site showing as:
secure://md-user-manager/
Can someone help me please?

Hi, thanks for helping all us ‘Underlings’… Since the latest update whenever I open a YouTube video in Avast Secure Browser (Which has ADBLOK) it shows a Black screen and an ERROR message and then if I hold on the video starts playing but there are NO comments either? Is this something Avast is aware of and in the throws of attending too? BTW, love Avast Secure Browser as I’m ANTI advertising all through my video watching. Please advise. Kind regards, Leondios
